Usage Policy

This Usage Policy defines acceptable and prohibited uses of MaybeUndo, including the web app, desktop app, Chrome Extension, recording workflows, AI-assisted features, and related services.

By using MaybeUndo, you agree to use the service lawfully, responsibly, and in a way that does not harm other users, third parties, or the platform.

1. Lawful Use

You may use MaybeUndo only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, contracts, and workplace policies.

You may not use MaybeUndo to:

  • Violate any law or regulation.
  • Infringe privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or intellectual property rights.
  • Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or authority.
  • Engage in fraud, deception, harassment, threats, or abuse.

2. Recording and Capture Responsibility

MaybeUndo may allow you to record screens, browser tabs, windows, microphone audio, or capture page content and context. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have all necessary rights, notices, and consents to capture, upload, edit, generate, share, or distribute that material.

You may not use MaybeUndo to record or capture content:

  • Without required notice or consent.
  • From systems or environments you are not authorized to access.
  • That contains confidential or protected information you are not permitted to use.
  • In violation of employer, customer, or partner obligations.

3. Content Standards

You are responsible for all prompts, uploads, recordings, scripts, generated outputs, and other material you create or share through MaybeUndo.

You may not use MaybeUndo to create, upload, or distribute content that is:

  • Illegal, infringing, defamatory, obscene, or deceptive.
  • Harassing, hateful, discriminatory, or threatening.
  • Designed to exploit or harm minors.
  • Malicious, including malware, phishing, or scams.
  • Intended to impersonate another person or organization in a misleading way.

You retain full responsibility for the content you create and for any consequences resulting from its use or distribution.

4. AI Feature Use

MaybeUndo may provide AI-assisted drafting, generation, editing, or structuring features. You remain responsible for reviewing all AI output before using or sharing it.

You may not use AI features to:

  • Generate unlawful or abusive content.
  • Produce deceptive impersonations or fabricated claims.
  • Create synthetic media intended to mislead others.
  • Attempt to bypass safeguards or usage limits.
  • Automate spam or large-scale low-quality content.

5. Platform Abuse and Security

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer or probe the service in a harmful way.
  • Interfere with the operation, stability, or security of MaybeUndo.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
  • Use bots or automation to overload the service or evade restrictions.
  • Use the service to transmit malware or harmful code.

6. Account and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and credentials. Use only accounts and workspaces you are authorized to access.

Do not share accounts in ways that violate plan, security, or administrative controls.

7. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may take action, including without prior notice, where appropriate.

Actions may include removing content, restricting features, suspending integrations, suspending accounts, or terminating access.

We may also cooperate with law enforcement, regulators, or affected third parties when required or appropriate.

8. Reporting

If you believe content or activity on MaybeUndo violates this Usage Policy, contact support@maybeundo.com with relevant details, including links, screenshots, and context where possible.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Usage Policy from time to time. Continued use of MaybeUndo after updates means the revised policy applies.

10. Sensitive Information

You should not use MaybeUndo to process or share sensitive personal data unless you have a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards.

This may include health data, financial information, government identifiers, credentials, or other regulated data.

11. Service Availability

MaybeUndo is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
