On-Brand Demos, Safer Deletes, Brief Management, and OS-Aware Shortcuts
Demos now support brand logos on shared links, deletions are confirmed with clear notifications, Story Demo Briefs can be managed from the dashboard, and capture controls include OS-aware keyboard shortcuts and countdown preferences.
What changed
On-Brand Demo Styling
• Add your logo to a Story Demo Brief and automatically apply it to shared demo published links • The logo appears in the upper-left corner of the shared demo experience • Branding is also visible in the Share Interactive AI Demo modal under Brand • Part of ongoing work to support consistent, on-brand demo presentation across teams
Delete Demo Notification
• A confirmation notification now appears when deleting a screen recording from the demo dashboard • The backend fully removes the demo after deletion to prevent stale or orphaned recordings • Improves clarity and confidence when cleaning up demos
Story Demo Brief Management
• Rename Story Demo Briefs directly from the dashboard • Delete Story Demo Briefs you no longer need • Makes it easier to keep your workspace organized as briefs evolve
OS-Aware Keyboard Shortcuts
• Capture control buttons now display keyboard shortcuts based on your operating system • Shortcuts are auto-detected for macOS and Windows—no setup required • Resume recording using ⌘⇧P (macOS) / Ctrl⇧P (Windows) • Cancel recording using ⌘⇧X (macOS) / Ctrl⇧X (Windows) • Stop recording using ⌘⇧R (macOS) / Ctrl⇧R (Windows) • Keeps creators in flow without memorizing different command sets
Countdown Preferences UX
• Added a Don’t show countdown again option before recording starts • Preference is remembered automatically for future recordings • Reduces friction for frequent creators who want to start recording instantly
